Hi. I'm wondering if you know how to play a click sound through a channel and only have the click come throught the monitor/headphone mix and not the main outs?

I have everything coming through the O1V's monitor send- w/ the click but don't want the click in the FOH.

Randy? Anyone? Help!!!!

Can you have the click track on mute and send it through the monitor send? Make sure its set for pre fader.

that's basically what you have to do as posted above. The O1 has many pages so it can be a pain to navigate at times.

Check how you route your outs. I use the omni and main outs. You can choose to have your click channel not routed to an out at all, so you're just monitoring through the headphone output.

Yeah. I used to route the click from its module directly to a channel in my own 'monitoring' board [Mackie 12 ch mixer], but not to the FOH; everything else, yes...[running through the cans, your pers monitor, or IEMs.]

If it came down to a song intro where another instrument starts the tune, I would cue in the other player w a triangle or shaker sound [triggered], or the hats, whatever...

For example, on the Pete Townshend tune Give Blood [w killer Simon on kit], the intro is a synth patch that leads into a gtr comp/rhythm [4 bar phrase] that hass the accents on the 1, + of 2, 4 [of the 1st & 3rd bar; 2nd & 4th rested]...cue 'em in w the hats or triangle sound on, say, 1/2 notes or 1/4's...or even on smaller close-quarters stages, just a visual w the hands/sticks [but it's best to have something audible [img]wink.gif[/img] ]
